Quick Create form sometimes wont load

We're running CRM 2015 on-premise and some of our users are having trouble loading quick create forms, when they click on the record type they want to create it appears to start opening the quick create form however it never fully opens and instead constantly loads as shown by the moving dot animation.

They then have to close the form and reload their web browser as the main menu ribbon is grayed out so they cant reopen the quick create.

Has anyone else come across this issue?

Looks like internet browser settings at first glance. Are they using IE?

Local intranet settings are ok? Or trusted sites?

We often see strange behavior if the CRM site isn't in one of those zones.

Hi,

From what ive found online it appears to be a google chrome issue which seems to pop up when they do minor updates.

Something about it an error setting the iframe height so its set to 0px instead of 165px.

Sadly there doesnt appear to be a permanent fix but if you refresh your browser you can open 1 quick create before you have to refresh again, just waiting on a new chrome release to resolve the issue.
