Financial Report not producing desired results

ReportReport

Im creating a report in BC that uses a calender year format.

Example:

The amount 627,288 is equally divided in 4 time periods of Jan-March, April-June, Jul-Sep and Oct-Dec. This amount is $153,567.

However, when I create the same report in BC, I am getting a different amount for each time period.

I am trying to figure out why BC is producing different amount for each time period?
I have the same question (0)

What formulas do you have under your report column definition?

Your Comparison Period Formula looks correct. Do you have accounting periods set up? Also, what values do you have in the Column Type field in both the row and column definitions? If the report isn’t working, one of these two settings is likely incorrect.

I recommend clicking 'Show All Lines' to see if you can identify the lines causing the variance.

    1. Another option to check is whether there’s a different calendar created besides the base one.
    2. Also, review the accounting period

Hi, Please check if Accounting Periods is set? If not, "FY" will have no effect.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
