Hi Experts:

I am trying to create a sales trade agreements in D365 FO with the following conditions:

1. if the volume is between 1 - 5 , the price should be zero

2. if the volume is more than 6 then , quantity should be 10 per volume but the first 5 should be charge to zero.

For example, I have a customer who has 6 committed volumes, when we bill them the subscription invoice should show still 6 but the price should only be 10 (which is 1 unit)

I tried to search in the system but I cant find any way to appear the correct calculation

Can someone help please?

Frenzel

    Hello Frenzel,

OOB feature can't achieve your requirement.

You can use trade agreement to split each situation. But this method is cumbersome and not practical.

    Hi Frenzel,

You are trying to map a business requirement in trade agreements for which they are not meant for.

You requirement cannot be handled in normal agreements and calls for using transportation management module to achieve the same.

The module is capable and designed just to handle these scenarios on day to day basis out of box.

Volume is a dynamics dimension and will vary for every shipment and needs dedicated calculation and rating logic.Transportation management is the answer.

I just configured your rates per volume in transportation management.

    Hi Sagar:

    Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Not sure whether we can pull out that information when we create a subscription order for customers

    Hi Rahul:

Sorry for the late response as this issue has been put on hold last year but now we are trying to do this task again.

Are you able to expand about what you said above "If trade agreement is used, then could extend the logic of SO line creation from Sales Agreement and plug in Trade Agreement execution "?

Your idea and solution will be highly appreciated.
