Proceedure or work around for Workorder containing additional deposit required

Changing the standard deposit when taking a work order in RMS v2.0 leads to a problem when performing a partial pickup.

Example:

A Workorder contains 3 items, $20, $40, $60.  The deposit default is 50%, therefore $60 is required.  The customer wishes to pay $100 and does so by Cash.

Then the Work Order is recalled and partially pickup up, just the $20 item.  RMS will ask $20  before the item can be picked up, i.e to be paid in full.

After testing, this only occures when the original deposit amount is changed from the standard one.

This is a bug, however I need to find a work-around for this.  I have tried to take the 50% deposit, then recall the order and pay additional, this does not work.

Many thanks

I believe this to be incorrect, as described above.  When the amount is changed via shift-f9 RMS does not know how to allocate the payment when items are collected.

Please try this in a test database

    Chris,

If you do a Shift F9 and go into details you can set the amount of deposit to take.  RMS will then respect this number when doing partial pickups.
