Purchase order not confirm if item price is zero

Hi there,

When raising a PO we are wanting for the PO not to be able to confirm until each item has a price against it. Is there an box for field to tick to enable this to occur? We are wanting to do this so that when a 0 is identified, we go in and add a trade agreement against that item.

Thanks
Lachie

    Hi,

I think you can do two things:

    1. Use PO workflow and control this approval level
    2. Look for small customization to make this field manadatory

    Hi Lachie,
Depending on the problem you described, it seems that there is currently no field that meets your business needs, and you can use the following two methods:
    1. If using custom fields, you can add a “Has Price” field for each item and configure it as a required field. This way, when attempting to confirm the order, the system will not allow confirmation if any item’s has price field is empty or zero.
    2. If using business rules or workflows, you can set up rules or workflow conditions to check the price field for each item and only allow the order to be confirmed when all items have a value in the price field.
    Best regards,
    Kevin
