    Re: Adding New Company

We are using Dynanics SL ver 6.5, and our company is likely to liquidate.  We have another company that wants to purchase Dynamics SL and begin using it immediately; however, we will also need to use Dynamics for a few months during our wind-down phase.  I know Dynamics allows multiple companies to be set up, but I don't know how to do that.  Do we need to have a multi-company module to do that?  How can we tell if we have that module?  If we have it, how do I begin setting up a new, unrelated company and its database?

Knowing that we were liquidating, we did not renew our customer source maintenence plan that was due June 12.  How would the transfer of the licenses work?  The acquiring company is willing to pay that renewal fee, but we need to know if we can set up another company first.  Much thanks for anyone that can help.
