GP Utilities with DYNSA: Login failed?

I have the SQL sa account disabled. So for performing maintenance on Dynamics GP I want to use the DYNSA account (such as after installing a hotfix or whatnot). However, when logging into GP Utilities as DYNSA I get the following:

This login failed. Attempt to log in again or contact your system administrator.

I can enable the sa account and login with that, but that's not really the issue. I have checked and DYNSA is the db_owner of all companies and the DYNAMICS database. What am I missing?

RE: GP Utilities with DYNSA: Login failed?

I believe utilities checks that the sa account is being used for DB upgrades regardless of the permissions assigned to other accounts.
