Adjust employee taxes without manual payment

An employee's card incorrectly had a pay code for mileage reimbursement set to take taxes out as well, in addition, the rate for the reimbursement was wrong.  I know I can correct it through a manual payment, but they prefer not to handle this way.  What are methods can I use to correct the federal, state, social security, and medicare?

    Hi,
    You could edit several of the tables from the SQL side, but this is so the wrong answer. While I respect your client's desires, I don't think it can be 'corrected' any other way. You could void the improper paychecks and re-enter them with the right numbers. Do you have any idea how they want this 'fix' to look? Why are they opposed to the manual paycheck?

    They decided to void out the original transactions and re-issue (will probably be an issue when they do the bank rec).  They have had issues in the past with manual payments/adj affecting taxes so I couldn't win this one.  I agree with you, in my mind, the best solution would have been the manual payment.

    Reversing and re-entering was probably the cleanest way to fix it. Sometimes the manual entries are hard to follow.
