Upgrade from Nav16 to BC20

Posted on by 27

Hi,

I'm upgrading from NAV16 to BC20, first I upgraded from Nav16 to BC14 and everything is fine till here I can see all my data.

Now when I started data migration from BC14 to BC20 all the steps were executed perfectly except at the end we have a step where we run below cmd

Start-NAVAppDataUpgrade -ServerInstance BC210 -Name "Base Application" -Version 20.0.37253.38230

At this step I get below error:

I don't understand why it is throwing this error, because I have an older version of Base application already published and Installed.

As you can see in the below screenshot both versions are present

Please help with this problem..

If you observe the app ID then there is difference in BC14 and BC20 versions

BC20 app ID seems to be the standard app ID so did you change the BC14 app id?
