Remove SSL Cert to allow CRM 2011 to work without it

Hello,

Our SSL cert for CRM expired over the weekend and we are unable to access the system. We are moving away from CRM soon, and don't want to purchase another certificate. How would we go about removing the current certificate and making CRM work without one? This is an on prem deployment of CRM 2011.

Thanks!

    Hello,

    1. If you are using Claims Based Authentication you need to disable Claims Based Authentication from the deployment manager .

    2. You need to edit the bindings in IIS and add only the http binding .

    3. Disable the bindings in CRM Deployment Manager -> Properties and switch back to HTTP.

    4. If you have any applications connecting to the crm web services (Outlook Client, Email Router, 3rd Party apps you need to edit those as well)

    Hope this helps,

    Radu
