Create a test company from the live company data but get different behavior in application

I have two companies in GP, the live company and test company. I took a backup of the live company and restored it over the test company and run the script to change the company id through out the tables, done this a million times at many clients works terrific. This time when I go to make a PO in the test company and pick up the vendor it tells me address information is missing and when you use the blue arrow to see it has not brought over the adrscode into all the fields. When checking the vendor in vendor maintenance all the adrscodes are filled in and there is only 1 address all assigned to the same adrscode. Data is correctly in the right tables: PM00200 and PM00300. When I try the same thing in the live company the copy was made from it works just fine, all the adrscodes move over properly. What could be the cause? I created a whole new test company and repeated the exercise with the same result. Same installation, same data, different behavior, has this happen to anyone? What can be done, what should I check?

Which address is missing?  If it's the Bill To or Ship To then I believe it's coming from the Company Address window.  The default address for that is actually stored in the DYNAMICS database (SY01500).  So if that was never filled out in the test company to begin with then it won't get updated when you do the company refresh.  Easiest way it to just go to Tools >> Company >> Company in the test company to open up the Company Setup window and add an address in there.  That will stick through the restores.

Thank you Matt, that worked, guess my test companies have always been better setup in the past so I never ran across this.
