Assuming you mean the Legacy ID found in the AOT on tables and fields and such, those are the ID's on objects from earlier versions of AX.  Newer versions use a much longer Element handle to support more objects, and to avoid confusion from two different objects having the same ID (you could often find fields and tables with the same ID).

    Thanks Brandon,

As per you suppose i am given example of CustTable

    In Dynamics AX 2009

    CustTable : ID =77

If i look in to CustTable

    In Dynamics AX 2012 R3

CustTable : Legacy ID = 77 (That should be same with earlier version)

    Is't right?

    Please verify.

    Thanks!

Yes Legacy ID's are found as Table ID's also, and are used in the SystemSequences and SQLDictionary tables.

    Thanks Brandon,

When it will use exactly? It's only for up gradation purpose.

    Thanks!

Yes, it's used for backward compatibility. Please read Deploying Customizations Across Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Environments to learn more.
