batch job error

hi everyone,

i am completely new to AX.

one of our batch jobs that email the sales report to company MD stopped working since a week ago. i checked the log which shows the below error. just wondering has anyone had run into the similar issue before? we are using AX 2009.

Hi Carolchen,

The object name indicates that this is a customization. We don't know what objects are used and what might have been changed that causes this error. Probably you can ask your partner or the person who created this customization for some help.

Could you please share more technical details about your batch job ? Are you calling code from any dll in your batch job ?

thanks Sukrut. it is a customization that i inherited when joined in the new company. the batch job actually runs a class (LedgerBalanceSheetDimPrint) which was assigned to generate financial statement. the batch job also emails the report to the MD.

when manually generate the financial statement in pdf, it's working fine and correct. but in batch job somewhere has caused the issue. do you need to see the code?

Thanks for your suggestions Crispin. i have checked the email configuration which is identical on the batch server as well as client. the report is not saved to any file, so i think the folder access doesn't apply in this scenario?

just an update of my post. i've tried to manually restart the job and it runs successfully. however, when i set the recurrence (daily run) and the following day it runs with the same error again. any ideas please?

when i double click the error, it only shows me this? (unless im in the wrong place)
