Get User Email with X++

Hi,

 

Is there is a way to get a user's email? I hava the following problem:

I have to send an email to a the person that belongs in a buyer group. In our case, the buyer group has the full name of the user in the description field.

I tried getting this information from the SysUserInfo, but I don't see a name field. Then I open the form SysUserInfo and I saw a table called UserInfo under the data source of this form, and then I went looking for it, but it does not exist in the AOT.

I just need to get to a user email based on his/her name. However, if someone knows a better way, I'm all ears.

 Anyway, any help will be appreciated.

    Hi Eduardo,

    UserInfo table is a system table.  You can find it in the AOT under (System Documentation > Tables).  As far as getting a user email, it all depends on where you are storing it.  This is usually done in the Employee details (contact information tab) screen in the Basic module.
