How to create an emergency distribution list that is also visible in the account?

Hi,

I have been looking for a solution to create an emergency distribution list that allows the following.

1. Users can see within an account who the associated emergency contacts are.

2. Users can edit the associated contacts within the contact form.

3. When an account is closed, the associated emergency contacts will be removed from the distribution list.

This also touches my next problem.

Currently, users add stakeholders via the lead form and can add more contacts via the opportunity form. However these relations are not transferred to the account. In our accounts, contacts may be stakeholders in various accounts.

Thanks for your help!!!

Elaine

    Emergency user

You can add a contact lookup to the account form and in this record you can assign a contact, you can filter this to only be contacts associated with the account

You would need  a workflow to run on change of status, check the account is inactive and then blank the emergency contact.

    contacts on the opportunity form

Users need to add contacts and link them to the account/company.

adding contacts to opportunities will not automatically link the contacts to the correct account

    THanks a lot Ben.

I am thinking about something similar, but I am having this problem with viewing the contacts in a list.

I created Emergency Contact 1, Emergency Contact 2, Emergency Contact 3, since we require max 3 contacts.

in the contact view list, I filter it by

Account (emergency contact1) - if it contains data

Account (emergency contact2) - if it contains data

Account (emergency contact3) - if it contains data

However I cannot do it by "or"
