Required Extender field is being bypassed

We are currently running GP 2010 11.00.1799. We have an extender window setup for users to select a reason code when they do an Inventory Adjustment. The Extender window automatically opens after you leave the Item Transaction number field. The reason code field is required in Extender but users can just close the extender window or cancel without selecting a reason code which also closes the window. We have documented the procedures for properly completing the process but is there a way we can disable closing the window and Cancel on the extender window?

We decided to just enforce policy instead of paying for another add-on.

Martin is correct. I would look into using eOne Extender.

Not with the Microsoft Dyanmics GP eXtender. With eXtender enterprise from eOne (the big brother product) you are able to include logic code that checks for required fields on both cancel and close of window.
