Application Stopped working

The application stopped working for a unknow error, can this also happen if the service has more than a week that it hasn´t been restarted?. Can someone let me know . Thanks

    Did it happen in any specific situation.

    This is a very generic error, I don't think you'll be able to identify the cause just from information provided above. If it happens more often, you should configure collection of memory dumps on crash. From that, you can find more details, such as what was the call stack leading to the exception.
