take a look at sales quotations (if you're on AX2009) - there are a few more options around 'Price simualtion'

Set up a total discount group, and create a total discount amount for that group. Select the total discount group on the sales order header.

Click on Accounts Receivable > Sales Order Details

    Open your desired Sales Order.

Then, click on the Price/Discount Header Tab.

Then, Right click in the Total Discount box and select "Go to Main Table Form".

After that, click on create new > Enter a name and price group. For easy access you can give the name or number of your SO.

Then, click on the Trade Agreement tab and select "Total Discount".

Here, click to create a new line again and enter the desired amount in the Discount filed.

Click on the save option in both the Windows.

Close the SO window and reopen it.

After that select or enter the price group name in the Total Discount box .

Later, click either on Inquires or Profama and select confirmation to confirm your discounted price.

By following this procedure you can provide a total discount figure (Amount) on the Net Amount instead of percentage or line discount.
