Bugs Tracking Outlook 2010 Recurring Appointments to CRM 2011

Hi! I have discovered at least one confirmed issue with tracking recurring appointments to CRM (CRM 2011, rollup 13), and wanted to see if others have found similar bugginess.

The issue I have been able to confirm is that CRM synchronization to Outlook deletes the Outlook recurring appointment, once it has been tracked in CRM. We are on Outlook 2010. So the sequence is, create a recurring Outlook appointment, save, track it to CRM and set regarding, Save & Close. Wait for synchronization or force synchronization. The Outlook recurring appointment disappears.

The other recurring appointment issues reported once each by a unique user are

a) "Last week I removed this year’s appointment for Person X.  However, today I get a reminder every 15 minutes for next year's appointment due in '51 weeks' and even when I dismiss it, it reappears." User had set up yearly recurring appointment for three years and tracked it to CRM.

b) the CRM copy of one instance of the recurring appointment is closed as completed, and the existing Outlook copy of the instance, which is now past the due date, continues to remind the user daily.

Thanks!

    Hello,

I was not able to recreate the Recurring Appointment issue in the CRM for Outlook which was on UR 15 V-2.

May be you should try upgrading the CRM for Outlook to Update roll up 15 V-2.

    Thanks,

    Rob Moses
