Assignment to sales territories fails.

Hej,

our company uses Dynamics 365 for Sales. We did not make changes to any of the default security roles, but created some specific ones.

However, it is not possible that any user but the system administrator is able to assign accounts to sales territories. Other users basically "do not have the permission {0} to list {1} record", when trying to assign anything. By the way, it's possible to delete the sales territory that had been assigned before..

Do you have any idea, which privileges or access levels I do need to check in order to grant that right to assign or change sales territories to a particular security role?

Thank you for your question

You can't allocate the same user to multiple territories. If you need to assign a user to a larger area (more than one existing territory), create a new territory that includes the existing territories, and then assign the user to that new territory.

Please make sure that you have a Manager ( the person would typically assign leads to salespeople) with a Vice President, CEO-Business Manager, System Administrator, or System Customizer security role or equivalent permissions
