Mailbox disables automatic

Hello,

We've configured server side synchronization on CRM.

While working, most of the users get the error: The mailbox "UserName" has been disabled for synchronizing appointments, contacts, and tasks due to unknown error. The owner of the associated email server profile "serverProfileName has been notified.

What could be the problem? Some other mailboxes are working just fine!

Thanks

I have exactly the same issue.  It's driving us crazy.  All settings in CRM are correct or else it would not work for anyone.  Please can someone respond

I've contacted MS for this issue. They said it is a known problem.. we received a script that we have to run on our Exchange server, but didn't have time to test this.

Any word on whether the script worked Alexanderdm ?

MS called again that we didn't have to execute the script because it wouldn't work anyway.. :)

    Hi Alex,

Have you resolved this issue? I got similar problem, all user emails are working, but 7 out of 22 has been disabled for synchronizing appointments, contacts, and tasks due to unknown error.

Anyone can point out a direction, like server side tracing?

    Thanks.

I did not know the real cause, but looks like it's a soft issue for me, my system is set to integrated email for unapproved emails, so the emails are all working.

I approved all the emails and test/enable mailboxes again, all are working now. This may not be working for you.

I don't know about everyone else but we have three email domains working under one Active Directory domain. Each user has a separate mailbox for each email domain.

It seems as though the issue occurs for those users who do not have the email address as their primary (or possibly alias) on the account they log into CRM with.

Does this seem to be similar?

Hi All - I just found the solution that resolves this issue in my client's environment...

... The resolution is dumb, but it works...

So, you basically go into each User's mailbox and set the "Appointments, Contacts, and Tasks" drop-down to "None"... Then click Save... Then go back and set this field back to "Server-Side Synchronization"... And click Save again.. And then click the Test & Enable Mailbox button and it will succeed.

    Hope this helps!

FYI: RU1 is currently installed, so I don't know if this is fixed with RU2, SP1,...

    Cheers,

    Rob
