I am having a query for one of the Legal entity which is based out of the Netherlands. I am trying to do a bulk upload of Customer data and am unable to upload the VAT ID and Business Code of those customers. I have tried both DMF as well as Excel add-in but it says the entity is not available for this region.
The placeholder that I know and that I am using is under the Registration ID option of the customer master:
My question is:
1. Is the placeholder used by me is correct or any other field is being used to store the VAT ID of the customers?
2. Which Data Entity can be used to populate these details.
On a strange note, the MS support team came back saying that these details cannot be uploaded in bulk and needs to be done manually only. I have over 500 customers to be loaded with their VAT IDs so the manual option is not a good option for me.
Some guidance from the community would be helpful here, how are you guys managing VAT ID's for the European region?
