Error Message: Sequel server Message 205 and Error Message: System Message 5003

We have a customer that wants to move their databases to a new server. They already installed SQL 2008, and restored their databases to this new server. The new server has Windows Server 2008 as Operating System. They use Dynamics SL 70 SP3 and use Windows Authentication to access SL.

We tried to conect the application to the new server we had several results:

On the application server with the sysadmin user, we didn't have any trouble to connect to the new databases.

On some clients we also didn't have any trouble connecting to the new database.

On other clients we are getting the Sequel Server Message 205 "Access Code Invalid. Debugging info: GetNewDbProc.

On other clients we are getting the following error:

System Message 5003 Cannot open the specified databaseABILIADBSL (229).

For error message 5003, there is a hotfix, I already runned on the computer that is showing the error and the same error ocurred after the hotfix was run.

Any ideas on how to solve these problems?

I finally found the problem.

The customer uses Windows authentication and there were some Dynamics SL users that were not members any more of the customer's domain, so this situation, stopped the Synchronization process and the other users were not added to the users list on SQL.
