After the latest Windows update, the F3 shortcut to Filter/search does not.
Do anyone know a fix to that problem.

Most probably it occurs when another application is using the same hot key, look in the task manager for any running application, including Video/Audio Settings. Try to kill all the running applications, one by one and check which one is causing the issue.
Hi Jakob,
Combine with Windows Key (key between Ctrl and Alt) may help you.
Press {Windows + F3}.
When I was informed the filter works if standing in a different column, i just rearrange and put one of the working columns in the first row and now F3 is working.
This might not be the answer but its a work around
I'm facing the same issues. At a Windows 10 PC F3 only works for fields with a table relation. It works on Responsibility Center on a Customer list but not on customer name and no.
The exactly same build on a Windows 2016 server acts differently. Here F3 works for all fields!
We have the same issue, but i am not sure it is a Windows Update that causes it as the F3 button works in for some functions in NAV, but not other functions.
Do you have any idea which Windows Update it should be if it is a Windows Update ? Because a temporary solution could be to uninstall that update and see if functionality comes back.

Does anybody found out which update occurs the issue?
We have the same problem. It still works on customer systems who didnt installed the updates.
The newest Windows updates didnt solved the problem.
Thanks and Regards

I can confirm this behavior, quite sure that it's happening since the last Windows 10 update ...
Thanks to Bardur Eliassen for this workaround, but it's still unpleasant, as you can't choose a row by pressing "Enter" in this kind of columns.
A fix from Microsoft would be nice ...
I'm also facing the same issues..
Using Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 and just upgraded to Windows Server 2012.
When I'm still using Windows Server 2008, everything still fine.
Is there any fix yet?
We're running af NAV 2017 version (this is what first gave us the indicator that F3 did not work). Out ERP partner told us, that this was because of an Cumulative update for Microsoft NAV 2017(1link: support.microsoft.com/.../cumulative-update-20-for-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2017-build-23021 ). F3 began to not work afther installing (2link: support.microsoft.com/.../windows-10-update-kb4467684 ) for our 2016 R2 servers in a Citrix enviroment, which also had the newest FXlogix update on. FXlogix recommended downgrading to 2.8.11HF3 because of an search index problem we had gotten recently, so we did. Afterwards we uninstalled the update(2link) for our servers, rebooted, and we got our Search function + F3 hotkey(so the marker is placed in the search bar) back in Navision.
I know that this is a complicated answer, but I thought I'd share it with you.
You Can First use Alt + E and than F3 shortcut
still after that you need to change your window to another application and again come to Nav application than you can edit your search.
