Error preventing sign up for free trial of D365 Sales

I get the following error: We are unable to sign up for the trial at this time. Please try again later. Error ID: a45f657b-14f7-4477-88ce-730b6c3f8316.

Can anyone advise?

    This is a  common and generic trial‑provisioning error in Dynamics 365 and usually is not caused by anything you’re doing wrong. The error “We are unable to sign up for the trial at this time” typically occurs due to backend or tenant‑level restrictions, such as:
    • Trials already consumed on the tenant (Microsoft limits repeated trial creation)
    • The email/domain is already associated with an existing Dynamics 365 or Power Platform environment
    • Tenant policies restricting self‑service trials (common in managed or enterprise tenants)
    • Temporary Microsoft service issues affecting trial provisioning
    Unfortunately the Error ID shown cannot be troubleshot by us means customer directly. Only Microsoft can see the underlying reason for that ID.
