I am creating all new security roles for our organization and would like to give each security role a unique landing page. At the moment, all users are landing on the same dashboard.
How do I choose where users will land when logging into Dynamics 365 for Sale version 9?

In addition to that you can use XRMToolbox sitemap editor , where you can add privileges for each area to show hide area based on access of the security roles.
Let say you created one custom entity in crm ang give the access READ in a security roles , and you want when user having security role has READ access for the custom entity then sales module will display and WRITE access means Service module will display. And each module you can set default page.
Go to XrmToolbox sitemap editor under each module you can add the privilege where you need to mention entity with READ/WRITE/ASSIGN etc access. By doing this you can control area and entity using security role.
