I want to import purchase order from .csv file and import template has item style,size, color and config fields in it.

So that means, if that product variant doesn't exist with those 4 fields, i need to create one before creating PO. but i am not sure about inventdim.

Do I need to create Inventdim as well ?

Hi Iamv,

You need to create variant before importing purchase order, however, you don't need to create inventdim, AX could create or find existing one for you if you using DMF for import.

Hi ,

Use correct dimension group for your product(Ex:CSWL-Color s,ize ,warehouse ,Location).The group should includes size ,color,config,etc..

Hi ,

If you are purchasing already created Item use correct dimensions as per the item dimensions or you can create item through x++ and use that item for your PO.

My Requirement got changed a bit and hence won't need to implement this at the moment.
