Does anyone have an AX setup checklist in a logical sequence of tasks?  I'm having issues with completing certain setup because of empty grids.  For example, I cannot complete address setup before I complete state setup.

    If you try to setup a company in AX from scratch than it's just a waste of time. There's a Rapid Configuration Tool (RCT) than can help you and it AFAIR uses demo data to setup a company. That is you import demo data without transactions and then "tune" it to fulfil your requirements. RCT can be downloaded from the CustomerSource.
