Hi:
I do not need to restore a backup of Production, now.
But, when I was in the Admin Center just now, I stumbled upon the fact that the date field that shows a backup of Production to restore from is dated several weeks ago -- 10/24/2022.
Does this mean that, in case of a disaster, a more recent backup cannot be restored?
Or, in that kind of a situation, would Microsoft simply need to be contacted to restore a more recent copy?
Thanks!
John
Oh, that makes sense! I simply misunderstood the terminology in those fields.
Thank you!
John
Hi John,
You should be able to restore the environment to any time after the date you see from several weeks ago. Hopefully you see something like this in the Admin Center when trying to restore an environment:
The date/time in the 1st field above shows the oldest date/time you can restore from. You can then specify any subsequent point in time you want to "restore to" using the two fields below that.
