Add vendor to another legal entity - different account id

Dear experts,

We are using Shared Number Sequence for Vendor account id (manual option switched off).

When I copy vendor to another legal entity using the Name search, "Existing vendor. Copy vendor?" function (as shown below), It worked. The vendor is copied over with the same account id.

However, when I use "Add vendor to another legal entity" function (see below), it will copy the vendor, but with a different Vendor account id.  Any ideas on how to fix this, please? Thanks!
