System user role

Hello,

What for the role "System user" is exactly used?

What can be a consequences if I remove it from a user? 

Actually I have removed it from my test user and can't see any differences, but I'm wondering maybe there is something that I can't see now and will cause some problems in future.

    Hi Andre,

    thanks for your blog.

    I have 1 more question: I was trying to add "Location Id" field to customer address via Personalize. In table list there was not "Location" table at first, but it got visible after I added "Location" field from "Global address book". But after I added the "Location Id" field from Location table and close / open the customer form I'm getting the error message: "An error occurred while unpacking xxx_xxx_LocationId.  This control will be skipped".

    Do you have any suggestion how can I achieve to have "Location Id" field (which is in form when we click Edit button) on Addresses?

    Hi Joni,

    This sounds similar to me.... I once wrote a blog about the unwanted permissions. I have not written about the tables you mention, but some others.

    You may do the same for your tables. So indeed like you say set from full control to view. But then also test it carefully.

    Hi Andre,

    Why I want this role to be removed is that in "Override permissions" I see "LogisticsLocation" and "LogisticsPostalLocation" tables set to "Full control" and I would like these tables to be in "View".

    Could you please suggest if this is a good idea if we create new role with same elements as "System user" has and just override permission for these two tables?

    Hi Joni,

    This role contains client essential permissioms. E.g. document management, alerts, batch, printarchive and more. You can see the content in the administration form and in the AOT.

    I would not like to have users in AX without this role.
