Method of Payment Label is not appearing in AX Console

Hi All,

Today i have noticed that in AX console, there is no Payment method (lable name in AX : Method of Payment ) in Console and I have checked in AOT Configurations, it has configured as VISIBILITY : yes for PAYMMODE field ( Tabel field for Method of payment in SALESTABLE). I dont know how to enable that label in COnsole level.

Can any one suggest on this.

Note : As you know, there is Payment : C/P lablel and  that is for Payement Term, not for the Payment methods like CC,Check or COD

    I assume that you mean "form" when you say "console". And you would like to see SalesTable.PaymMode field in the sales order form.

    Just the fact that the field is marked visible in the table doesn't mean that it would automatically appear on all forms where this table is used as a data source.

    You have two options:

    1) Developer modified SalesTable form and adds PaymMode field there

    2) Users can customize the form and add the field themselves as configuration

    By the way, in my system this field is shown on the form. Perhaps your user has hidden it via personalization? Or a developer has hidden it.

    Actually I'm new to AX. If possible ,can you share the process to enable that field in Sales order form.

    It really depends whether it's hidden because of personalization or customization (development).

    You can try to clear your usage data (web search keywords: "ax 2009 clear usage data". If it helped, then it was caused by personalization.

    If the issue is caused by development, you should ask your developers to check it. I'm saying this because if you need to change some development thing, you need to consider many things in your company's development and deployment process.
