I would like the Opportunities List (sub-grid) on the Account form to display opportunities based on either one of two criteria

Each opportunity is assigned to an account. I have also added a field on the Opportunity form to track the reseller. This field is a lookup into Accounts but only for Relationship Type = "Reseller". This is all working well. What I want is that if I go to the opportunities tab for a specific account that the grid will show all opportunities for that account AND any opportunities that have Reseller equal to that account.

For example:

4 Accounts: Deal1, Cust1, Cust2, Cust3

Cust1-3 each have a single opportunity.

Each of those opportunities has the respective Custx as the account AND Deal1 as the Reseller.

On the Customer Account records only their respective opportunities will show, but on the Deal1 account tab I want all opportunities if Account=Deal1 OR Reseller=Deal1.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Dan,

By default, Opportunity tab in the Account form just show opportunities related accounts (OOB Account lookup field).

As you mentioned, “I have also added a field on the Opportunity form to track the reseller.

Which is a new relationship, and it can’t be added to the original opportunity tab.

Maybe you need create a new opportunity sub-grid that related to the new relationship(Reseller).
