First Data Credit Card Processing Trouble

I'm setting up a new POS 2009 system. Everything has gone smooth up to this point. Here is the problem - I've entered in my First Data credit card procesing information and it successfully validates. When I total a sale and swipe the credit card, it doesn't do anything. It goes from money owed to paid - when you click OK, it goes back to a money owed state. It doesn't generate an error nor does it process the credit card transaction. It's as if I had never swiped the card.

I've tried both swiping the card using the MSR and entering the card information manually with the same results.

We've used POS 2.0 for the last two years, so I have a pretty good grasp on the software, but have not seen this before.

Any help would be appreciated.

I finally got the solution to the problem about an hour ago, I think it was a bug in the program, because I had to check off the address & CVV verification buttons for the manual transactions to get the swiped transactions to go through, weird.

That's odd if you cannot type in the information either. You may wish to go directly to Microsoft with this one as it may be a bug with the program.
