Marketing Dynamics - How can I use email templates that are in outbound in CRM

Hi,

I have created lots of email template campaigns in Outbound marketing. Some of them have links to our marketing materials and/or have great information about our proposition.

Is it possible to use them in the CRM In the section Timeline > Send Email? So the sales team can grab them and send them directly to the prospects they are talking to, without the need to retype all again, find the link and send it?

We used to have that possibility with Salesforce/Pardot, that the same emails I used for campaign were available for one-to-one emails from the CRM.

Many thanks,

Keyleen

Is there anyway to automate copy paste e-mail templates from Journey into Sales ? With Power automate for example ? I belive it's crazy we have to do this manually.

    Hi Roy,

Thank you. I thought about copying the email templates from my own email templates. But every time I change something on my email or update a link, I will have to go to 2 places to update (even 3 if using Real-time marketing) – not very dynamic. This is basic functionality in other CRMs.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Hi Keyleen ,

As the marketing app is not user based, your sales teams members must be able to access it within the environment (prod, test, dev) chosen.

However,  they cannot send outbound emails to contacts directly as they do in Sales app. They would have to follow the path of Segmenting the contacts and then send the email by Customer journey.

Another work around is as Steve mentioned above, to add the Outbound mails as email templates in advanced settings. To do this copy the HTML of the emails and paste it within the Email templates.

Now these templates will be accessible within Sales app for ready to use in quick campaigns.

    Thank you for your response.

Is there a way my sales team can access Outbound marketing emails to send to prospects?

Would they need access to Marketing Dynamics?

    Hi Keyleen,

No, you can't use Outbound Marketing email template when you send email from timeline.

You can only insert a normal email template which is created form here:

And then insert it when you create a new email:
