Posting product receipts in ledger when using procurement categories

Hi, 

We want to use procurement caregories and post product receipts in ledger - parameter is set in AP.

I have created entry for Purchase order, cost of purchased materials received for the procurement caregory in posting setup (Inventory management).

Posting items works fine, but when using procurement categories nothing is posted upon receipt - what could be missing?

    I believe you need to define a Policy to support posting the receipt entry when the procurement category is received. 

    This is configured here:

    Procurement and sourcing
    Setup
    Policies
    Purchasing policies

    The policy to define is the "Category policy rule". For the category, you will need to mark "Accrue purchase expense on receipt"
