Relevant Search in D365

Posted on by 100

Is there any possibility to get the data related to that particular view but not from the entire entity data?

For example if we see in the below screen shot the view doesn't contain the Account City Power & light but when I searched in the global search it is showing the Account which is present in different view.

Please help me in this.

    Hi Rajeev,

You are referring two different views in screenshots.

    1) My Active Accounts: active accounts owned by you

    2) Quick Find : Global search view

The reason behind 'City Power & light' record's absence in first view is may be you don't owned the record or it is in inactive state.

You need to customize your 'My Active Accounts' view as per your requirement so that records you want to display in view will appear automatically.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Anand

This normally happens when you have the Account City Power and Light in the list of Find Columns but not added to view columns. Please go to Quick Find View and check which columns are ticked for Find and which columns are added to view.

Find columns are used to find the record and View Columns are just used to display the results
