SORRY - Subgrid (add existing button) not visible

I've been searching around a lot and tried various things. I have a subgrid that I am not able to 'add existing' account to:

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have enabled accounts for quick create however I am only trying to add existing accounts here. I created a lookup field within accounts that is business optional but I'm not sure how that would affect the subgrid.

This is a many to many relationship between Tickets and Accounts.

Did you ever get a resolution for this issue? I'm experiencing the same issue, but with contact sub-grids
