Hi,

Does anyone know how I can identity the data sources for the PowerBI embedded reports in D365FO.

I can't find anything on the data stores, all i see is options to update/refresh measures.

You can integrate PowerBI with Entity store. You can refer to these official documentations:

Entity store is an operational data store that is included with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. This article describes how Entity store enables Power BI integration.
