We want to show credit limit on checkout page, and if customer credit limit is negtive still user should be able to checkout the order.
but in my case currently customer stuck on to the checkout page and it shows error in checkout api failed.

actually we want to achieve our functionality using HQ configurations.
Problem.
1-We have assigned credit limit to our customer and made configuration in credit and collection.
2- when customer add the items in cart it limit exceeds and it shows negative value on checkout page its fine till on this step.
3- but when he want to proceed the order with negative credit, system throws an exception on checkout API and return 502 status code.
4- if customer credit limit is enough then order processed properly.
we have mad following changes in the credit and collection
Bypass inventory reservations : No
Check credit limit on sales order : YES
Message when exceeding credit limit: warning
Allow manual editing of credit limits: YES
Credit limit type: Balance+packaging slip
Check credit limit on free text invoice: YES
Automatically recalculate estimated: YES
