    RE: Dynamics and excel

    The functionality provided in GP 2013 R2 is related to Journal Entries import (General Ledger level). DI Excel paste extends over Dynamics GP forms in a variety of modules such as Sales, Purchasing, Inventory ...etc

    Hi Frank

    Are you able to advise if the full functionality of GP Excel Paste is to be included in GP 2013 R2.  We are not only very interested in the General Journal Paste Option, but also in the SOP Paste Option.

    DI Excel Paste is your best option, it is free for General Ledger Journal Entry, and has extended capabilities that work on several other Dynamics GP forms.

    All you need to do is to download the tool from the link above, and you may follow the instructions within the manual for any associated inquiries.

    Hi Violet,

    You can import journal entries from excel using

    * eConnect custom application

    * Integration Manager

    * GP Macro using Mail-Merge

    *  Table Import(Not Suggested - No validation, need to know the table structure &  entry reflection in back-end)

    There's a product called 'Excel Paste' that you can install to do this (www.di.jo/GPExcelPaste.aspx).  Or, upgrade to GP 2013 R2, which is due to be released soon.  This feature is scheduled to be part of that release.
