RE: e-commerce web site could not display product detail information

    Hi Ashish,

Much thanks for the detailed guidance, I did at a wrong 'full sync' in the first try.

Now I followed your detailed steps and I am sure there is no "Excluded" products in the assortments.

I have again do online store update publish, and do full sync for jobs 1040, 1070 and 1150, after all these jobs status be applied, I go back to e-c web site, and the issue not resolved.

The related products detail page still show 404 error.

our Dynamics 365 version is 10.0.12

and the RSCU build number is 9.22.20282.7 (10.0.12)

    • Please verify, that your product is not marked as 'Excluded' in any of the assortments that are associated with your Online channel.
    • You can find all the assortments associated to your channel - via Online Stores > Channel > Inventory > View Assortments.
    • If you may notice there are multiple assortments - please review product lines in each assortment and re-publish every assortment.
    • Do confirm that product, if associated to multiple categories and none of the category is being marked to be excluded either in any of the assortment definition.
    • Next, navigate to 'Channel categories & product attributes' - select your online store from the org hierarchy - select 'Publish channel updates'
    • Lastly, from the Online stores > Select your Online Store > From 'General tab' - select 'Channel database' > From top-ribbon select 'Full Sync' and run 1040, 1070, 1150 (not from distribution schedule but 'channel database' page.
    • Post jobs are applied - wait for sometime for the information to get updated in the index. Jobs being applied is indicative of data being available in the channel database, post which publisher would push the required information to Search index - which would take a while for the information to be updated depending on the number of Channels & number of products that you may have for your organization.

It would be great, if you can share the Dynamics 365 & RCSU build number, as well.

    Hi Ashish,

Thanks very much for your confirmation!

I've tested my scenario as below

    1. We have the products assorted in the product hierarchy, as below

    assort.PNG

Then I run job 'process assortment', and after that I run '1040' and '1150' jobs, after their status be 'applied' i go back to the e-c web site, and the issue still continues.

Please help confirm if I missed any step, much appreciate for your help!

    • This is a transient issue - where the updated assortment definition is in the process of being reflected in the search index.
    • Next publishing update to the search-index must ideally make the unassorted products disappear from the PLP listings as well.
    • If the issue continues to persist - request you to kindly - attempt to run the 'Process assortments' in HQ and following to that run 'full-sync' for 1040 and 1150 - that would ideally make the 'unassorted products' disappear from the PLP, as well.
    • Also, during the recent development cycles, this is being worked upon by our engineering team such that - PLP pages would also honor the assortment definitions immediately that way it doesn't result into 'Product not found' experiences.
