CDS: Worker Field "Manager" (cdm_ManagerWorkerId)

Hi,

On CDS, the Worker entity has this field: cdm_ManagerWorkerId (called "Manager").

In Human Resources module, how can edit and see this field information?

Hi Parag,

The manager field on the worker entity is currently not populated in CDS. This is by design.

Hi Alice,

This is the normal process to get the manager. I still have a question why cdm_managerworkerId don't have value for any record in CDS. Either it is a bug or designed behavior.

Hi Ana,

To get the manager in Human Resources,

We need to use Position Worker Assignment to find the Position assigned to the worker.

Then use Job Position Entity to find the Reports To Position for that Position.

The back to the Position Worker Assignment to find the Manager assigned to the Reports to Position.
