D365 CE CDM table indexes

We are creating a custom window for contact in D365 CE against the contact table. 
 
Couple of questions:  
 
1. Is the Azure D365 CDM CE contact table indexed? Can an index be set on CDM tables or are they all indexed in Azure CDM?
2. Are we suppose to use Dataverse search?  Can you integrate dataverse search into Azure D365 CE for custom forms?

    1. regarding your suggestion that /Azure D365 CDM CE contact table/ means Contact Table/ in a /Dynamics 365 environment, is this correct?
    2. Regarding your question about /Data section search integration into Azure D365 CE/ is it correct that Dataverse search is started in a Dynamics 365 environment?

     
    If your question is similar to our analysis, according to the official documentation, to start Dataverse search in Dynamics365, you can turn on Environment Settings in /PPAC/ and /Search/ in /Feature/.
