Voucher and Adjustment Entry Issue

Hello,

I am new to MS Dynamics SL.  I will be handling the system but i cannot answer he query of the user since we will have out training by third week of June.  As of now, we do the user and technical support for MS Dynamics SL.  I am asking help on how to configure this error/prompts, says " Document total is not equal to Batch total".

    Hi,

    If you sum all of the document amts, do they match the batch total?  If yes,  then there is a problem with the batch that will need to be fixed with a Query Update.  Or,  delete the batch and start over.

    You can print the Unreleased Batch report in AP ( the last report in the list) and see what the documents total.

    Hi Hales,

    Verify the batch is in balance in the Voucher & Adjustment entry screen.

    The Batch Control and Batch Total must be equal to each other for the batch to release and the Document Amount and Document Total must also be equal to each other for the batch to release.

    1. Review the documents and transactions in the batch to determine where a data entry error may have occurred and correct it.

    2. Release the batch.

    You have to refer the below tables Batch & APDoc table

    Select CuryDrTot,CuryCtrlTot,DrTot,CtrlTot from Batch Where Module = 'AP' and BatNbr = 'XXXXX'

    Select CuryDocBal,CuryOrigDocAmt from APDoc Where BatNbr = 'XXXXXX'

    Here XXXXX is the batch #.
