Hi Julie,
Of course the obvious first question is why you only want to restore only payables? Another question is, even if you did just restore the PM tables, what would you do about the integrating journal entries, etc that were created by payables?
You can use various tools to transfer data from tables in a backup to tables in the production database (after extensive testing, of course). This kind of file surgery should only be attempted by a very experienced consultant with an intimate knowledge of the data model.
Dynamics is an integrated system that does not lend itself to modular recovery.
Kind regards,
Leslie
Hello Leslie,
Thank you for your response. We took another course of action and deleted the transactions that were causing issues from the tables they affected and ran a Check Links. All is well.
Regards,
Julie
