Set default of a whole number field

I have a whole number fields in Dynamics.  How do I set the default on new form create to be 0?

    Hi Terry,

    This article will teach you how to set a field to a default value of 0 using a business rule.

    Yes I literally just got done creating 8 business rules to do this... but it seems ridiculous.  Should just be a setting on the field.  What if I had 100 fields like this?  Create 100 business rules?  This seems to work, but MS should update it.  Thanks.
