quantity discount pricing

I created an item priced at $5 per unit, with a volume discount of 50 units at $4 each.

I want RMS to price any unit added to a bundle at regular price, unless of course the added units complete a second bundle.

Example:

50 units = $200

51 units = $205

55 units = $225

However, RMS seems to be changing the price per unit every time a unit is added, increasing it by a few cents

Price per unit at 50 units = $4

Price per unit at 51 Units = $4.02

Price per unit at 55 units = $4.09

This also alters the total of the transaction by a few cents; making a transaction of 51 units $205.02 instead of 205, and the transaction of 55 units $205.01 instead of 205.

What exact version are you using?

Are there any other prices set, like a B or C price?

How are you're discounts set?  Manager | Configuration | Pricing

We are using 2.0 with Feature Pack 2.   Items are created and pricing/discounts are set in HQ Manager.  We are using Quantity Discount and setting a price level for meeting the quantity, discount odd item field is not checked.

You might try updaing to the latest version 2.0.1006.  There is something vague in the notes of .1003 about Mix and Match discounts not working as expected.  May fix it for you.

It will fix your reports with filtered dates issue before you ask here about them, too. ;-)

    Hello Chazh,

First of all your Quantity discount table seems illogical. Usually whenever the customer buys more quantity he gets more discounted price and in your case its opposite.

The reason for RMS is adding cents to unit price whenever you add 1 more unit is that you haven't checked the box "Discount odd items". Check this box and the unit price will remain the same until the quantity hits the second discount bundle.

    Best Regards,
