Dynamics CRM - "Set as Default" dashboard for all users from customizations not respecting the setting.

Hello Everyone,

I have 3 dashboards in my solution and I need to set one of the dashboard as default for all the users in my organization. I'm setting the dashboard as default from Settings-> Customizations ->Dashboards and then published the customizations.

When I go to the Dashboards it's not taking me the dashboard, which I set as default.

Any workaround or help would be greatly appreciated .

Thanks for the reply. Does the user settings can be moved from one environment to another?

I was able to try this on my development environment and working fine but the users on my Production are different than dev and I can't connect to my Production environment using XRM Toolbox. So it doesn't seem to work going this route.

Hi,

What is the error you get when you are connecting to Production instance?

Xrmtoobox plugin code is open source and available on GitHub. You can write small Console utility to update your production user settings using c#.
