Tools menu in GP Web Client 2016

Where can I find the Tools menu in GP Web Client 2016 ? In windows, it's under Microsoft Dynamics GP --> Tools .

I've got few menu added directly under Tools --> Utilities. and I cannot find them in the Web Client.  I can see that the other menus which are under a sub menu like "Tools --> Utilities --> System" , "Tools --> Utilities --> Company" , "Tools --> Utilities --> Sales"  are available in respective Module's Utilities section.

But the menus which are in "Tools --> Utilities" are not available.

Looking for some help!

Thanks,

Himal

You might need to add them to Quicklinks or shortcuts to make them visible as the web client does not have the tools menu displayed.

    Hi David,

What i found is that if we add the menu directly under "Tools" using Dex, then it doesn't appear in the web client. But if we add the menu under any sub category under tools, like "Tools --> Purchasing" or "Tools --> Sales" etc, then I can see my menu in Web Client. Tools menu for individual category is located inside the relevant section.

So certainly, there seems a bug for the menu added directly under "Tools"

    Thanks,

    Himal

    Hi Himal

Not a bug, the Web client only shows Area Pages, so all you did was move your menu into a menu shown on the Area Pages.

Look in the integration guide IG.pdf which comes with Dexterity in the navigation section, it shows how to add an area page.
